Wrightwood CA - Janet was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on April 15th and grew up in a town called Fords, New Jersey. She graduated from Woodbridge High School in 1976 and attended a 2 yr junior college (Middlesex County College) to focus on business courses. She then went on to Stockton State College to complete my bachelor of Science degree in accounting in May of 1980. While growing up in New Jersey Janet spent summers with her family at on the Jersey Shore and winters playing in the snow. During her college years she was on the college ski race team. In 1980, after graduating, Janet decided she wasnted a change in her life and decided to drive cross country with her brother to settle into Southern California. |

I ran into Tom at a family birthday party a couple of months after arriving and we started dating. During this time I was hired into Rockwell as a Financial Analyst and am still currently employed with them after 25 years. Tom and I were married on October 31, 1981 and Danielle came along in September 1982. Three years, three months and three days later came Joey. Danielle and Joey kept us very busy between soccer, football, baseball, softball, skiing, motorcycle racing, and cheerleading as they grew up. In 1986 after Joey was born we moved from Whitter to Wrightwood to enjoy the small community living and having four seasons. In 2000 we went to our first off-road race in Barstow that Joey was helping at. It was a night race and we got hooked. We started looking around and bought our first 5-1600 racecar in September of that year and raced our first race in December 2000. |
