Westhoff Motorsports Joins Over Forty 1-2/1600 Cars for the SNORE Battle at PRIMM February 11 , 2007 – It's that time again; time for dirt throwing, fender banging, insane racing action. The 2007 SNORE season opener is heading to Primm, Nevada February 16 - 18 for one of the most spectator friendly races held in Southern Nevada. With over forty 1-2/1600 cars already pre entered to battle each other for the first win of the season, Westhoff Motorsports could not pass up this opportunity to get out there and have some fun in the desert.
After finishing first place in Class 5 on Saturday at the SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge, Joey is well prepared to take his newly build 1-2/1600 around the Primm race course on an unscheduled stop in the Westhoff Motorsports race schedule. For Saturday's racing action Josh Westhoff will be buckling into the Mastercraft 3G and five point harness next to Joey. Josh, Joey's cousin, just moved back from Arizona where he worked at the prestigious Geiser Brothers while going to school at MMI to learn more about his passion for motorcycles. Josh has brought his knowledge and insight to the team during the build and prep of the Westhoff Motorsports 1-2/1600 car and is now ready to take it to the course. Taking over the co-driving duties for Sunday's racing action will be Brittany Sanchez. Brittany has raced with Joey for the past two years with Dirtnewz Racing, and was a part in bringing the #1691 to fourth place at the MORE KST 250.
The SNORE Battle at PRIMM will consist of seven separate class races; 1-2/1600 cars will have 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete six - 10 mile laps. Westhoff Motorsports will be rolling to the start line at 1:50pm, so don't miss out on the action.
