Westhoff Motorsports Races to Cure Breast Cancer

October 9, 2006 - Westhoff Motorsports' very own Team Manager, Brittany Sanchez, and Financial Analyst, Janet Westhoff, are teaming together to race in search of finding a cure for Breast Cancer.

MORE promoter, Jim Clements, was approached by a few women racers who wanted to put together a Powder Puff race in search of helping find a cure for Breast Cancer. With the help of a few women racers Jim was able to add this special race to his series. The dates were set to be in October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and with many hard working individuals and sponsors the race is sure to be a huge success. As of today there are 122 cars that have pre-entered the race, that is over 200 women racers that will be out there racing against the cure.

Westhoff Motorsports is sure to be a contender with hotshot Brittany Sanchez behind the wheel and Janet Westhoff riding shotgun. Together the duo have prepared for the upcoming race by training with each other and getting to know the course. Brittany is also entered in the upcoming SCORE Tecate Baja 1000 which will extend the full length of the Baja Peninsula, reaching from Ensenada to La Paz.

With many races under their belt, this team is the real deal and is one to watch out for. Tackling the 20.8 mile course for three hours will be no challenge to these ladies who have raced for hundreds of miles at a time. Be sure to come by our pit and check out the women of off road motorsports.
